While patients are not charged or billed for any services, the NFMC is not 'free'.  The Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic operates with a budget supported by financial donations from the community. This budget enables the clinic to:
  • Pay for prescription medications.
  • Pay for utilities and operating costs.
  • Pay for essential medical and office supplies that are not obtained by donation.

In-kind Support

Many local individuals and businesses support this work with donated or discounted goods and services without which the clinic would not be able to operate.

If you have donated or discounted services to offer, please contact us for more information.

Volunteer Support

The administrative, referral and medical services are provided entirely by volunteers.  In addition, many individuals have donated hours of their time to build cabinets, provide computer expertise, janitorial services, security assessments, etc.

If you are a Physician, Physician’s Assistant or ARNP, please contact us by phone or e-mail to find out how to become a volunteer.

Support in Getting the Word Out

The services of the NFMC will only be an asset to the community if we are seen as available and accessible to our patients as well as those who refer to us and those who wish to support us in some way.  If you are willing to have information about the NFMC at your site (business, agency, church, etc.) please contact us so that we can accommodate your need.
